Bill Pay Discontinuation

LSCU has chosen to discontinue our Bill Pay service effective March 1, 2021.

We understand that Members may have questions about how to proceed. We've provided answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. If you need assistance moving payments from Bill Pay to the merchant or service provider, we're here to help! 

Why is this service being discontinued?

Unfortunately, Bill Pay is not a service used by very many of LSCU’s Members and it is not cost-effective for us to continue paying a third-party vendor to offer Bill Pay. Making financial decisions like this is what helps LSCU continue to provide low rates and dividends to our Membership.

How do I move my bills to another payment method?

In many cases, you will need to visit the service provider or merchant’s website to set up direct payments. Many merchants offer automatic payments, so you won’t have to worry about paying each month – just like Bill Pay. If you’re not able to find this information online, it may be located on a paper or digital statement or bill. Once you’ve found the information, you can set up payments to debit directly from your LSCU account or use your LSCU debit or credit card for automatic payments. 

What happens if I fail to move my payments after March 1?

Any bill scheduled to be paid after March 1 will be cancelled. Please communicate with the merchant directly to make your payment. If you do not move your payments from Bill Pay, you may incur fines or late fees for payments not made after March 1, 2021. LSCU is not responsible for fines or fees incurred for failure to move payments.

If I scheduled a payment to be paid before March 1 but the merchant has not received it, will the payment be honored? What should I do?

No action is needed on your part. If the payment was scheduled and paid (not in pending status) before March 1st, the payment will be honored. If the merchant has not received the payment by the expected delivery date, please contact LSCU for further assistance.

Can I download my Bill Pay records?

Yes, you can login and download up to 84 months of payment history until March 1, 2021. After that date, you will not be able to login and download these records.

Can I get the payment information to pay my bills? (Or, how do I view the payment information used to pay my bills)
Yes, once you are logged into bill pay go to the Payment Center. From the Payment Center click on the company or person you wish to view. The payment information will be displayed, including name, account number, and address if applicable.
